LasPaC-II-M (Mobile) - The lightweight and precise particle counter for mobile applications

The LasPaC-II-M (Mobile) is a compact, portable particle counter that has been specially developed for monitoring oil purity in demanding applications. With an optimal compromise between low cost, high accuracy and reliability, it offers a cost-effective alternative to the fully equipped LasPaC-II-P (Professional) model. Thanks to its robust construction and versatility, it is the ideal choice for users looking for a lightweight, reliable yet affordable service device. This device is specially designed to precisely determine the degree of contamination of hydraulic and lubricating oils in accordance with international standards such as ISO 4406, NAS 1638 and others.

Precision and reliability at an attractive price

The LasPaC-II-M offers the same high precision and reproducibility as other STAUFF devices, but at an attractive entry-level price. Despite the reduced features, such as the absence of an integrated thermal printer, the device guarantees the exact contamination level measurement of lubricating and hydraulic oil. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where an inexpensive but powerful device is required.

Versatile - light and practical

Weighing less than 5 kilograms, the LasPaC-II-M is one of the lightest particle counters in its class. This feature makes it ideal for applications where hydraulic system maintenance over long distances or inaccessible locations must be overcome, for example in wind turbines or on offshore oil and gas platforms. The LasPaC-II-M can also demonstrate its strengths when servicing hydraulic lifts. The robust transport case ensures safety and mobility.

The intuitive operation, the display of results on the LCD screen and the integrated data memory for up to 600 measurements facilitate handling even under difficult conditions. The data can be transferred to a computer or notebook for further analysis via the RS-232 interface with USB converter kit.

Suitable for various fluid types

The LasPaC-II-M is available in specific variants that are optimised for different fluid types:

  • Mineral oil and petroleum-based fluids

  • Phosphate esters such as Skydrol®

  • Water glycols and bio-oils

These variants enable use in a wide range of industries and applications, from wind energy to aviation. The device is also optionally available without an integrated rechargeable battery, which offers additional flexibility.

Extended options - water-in-oil sensor and temperature sensor

For applications that require additional parameters, the LasPaC-II-M can be equipped with a combined water-in-oil sensor and temperature sensor. The sensor measures the water content in the fluid (relative humidity value in %RH) and displays the current temperature of the fluid in degrees Celsius (°C). This function is particularly useful for monitoring condensation or temperature changes in hydraulic systems.

The lightweight and compact design of the LasPaC-II-M makes it the first choice for mobile applications in hard-to-reach environments:
