Threaded holes on the side

Threaded hole on the side allows permanent connection of a pressure or temperature sensor

Did you already know? SAE sandwich plates type SPL in accordance with SAE J 518 C and ISO 6162-1/2 from STAUFF are also available with a G 1/4 BSPP connection port.

This threaded bore located on the side allows the permanent connection of a pressure or temperature sensor with a corresponding process connection as well as a suitable hydraulic test coupling. Various measuring and display devices can be connected via test couplings, corresponding adapters and test hose assemblies from the STAUFF Test product range for temporary measurement or permanent monitoring of the operating pressure. Likewise, meaningful fluid samples can be taken, e.g. for contamination analysis with a laser particle counter, or the system can be vented.

SAE Sandwich Plates with Threaded Connection Port in the STAUFF Online Shop

SAE sandwich plates are available as part of the STAUFF Flanges product group in both mild steel (untreated and oiled as standard) and stainless steel. Depending on the size, the components are made of solid material (version A) or on the basis of a forged blank (version B).

For the assembly, the flange plates are easily positioned between an SAE flange with an O-ring groove and a matching counter flange.
