A simple extension
In hydraulics technology, it was previously necessary to keep both standard and interlock fittings in stock separately in order to be equipped for every application. This led to a doubling of stock levels and high investment costs. With our innovative mobile pull-out protection, we offer a unique solution: a standard Ecovos hose fitting becomes an interlock fitting in no time at all. This makes double stock-keeping a thing of the past. This extension to our standard fitting is only available in this form from STAUFF and makes us pioneers in the industry.
One fitting for all applications - maximum flexibility
Our Ecovos hydraulic hose fittings are characterised by a high degree of flexibility. Identical design of the press nipple, adapted to the requirements of the different hose types, and customised ferrules with multiple use for different hose types commonly available on the market form the basis. This allows us to cover a wide range of applications with Ecovos.
The mobile tear-off protection makes this system even more flexible. An interlock fitting can now be produced quickly and easily from a standard Ecovos fitting. This allows us to use a single fitting for a wide range of applications, from textile hoses to peeled and unpeeled hoses with wire braiding and interlock applications for multi-spiral hoses using the anti-pull-out ring with the corresponding ferrules. This allows us to reduce the number of components required by more than 50 % and enables our customers to stock more efficiently. Companies benefit from this flexibility, particularly when equipping new sites for the first time, as the investment costs are significantly reduced.
Optimise warehousing and mobility
The hydraulics industry relies on rapid availability. Rapid hydraulic services with mobile workshops in particular benefit from our mobile pull-out protection. Due to the reduced space requirement in emergency vehicles and the associated weight reduction, a wider range of products can be displayed, which facilitates repairs to hydraulic systems on site.
Simple conversion and proven technology
Quick and safe installation
Converting to an interlock fitting is extremely simple:
- The plastic slider is used to push the mobile pull-out protection over the conical sleeve until it reaches the end position.
- There, the mobile pull-out protection ring engages securely and positively on the hose nipple.
- The connection is then made with the hose (4SH or R15), peeled inside and outside as specified, and the appropriate Ecovos+ compression fitting - using the usual tools and machines.
FAQs
What are the advantages of the Ecovos+ Mobile Tear-Off Protection system?
In general, Ecovos+ is not intended to replace the existing and proven Multivos programme (Interlock). Rather, our intention is to increase flexibility for the customer on site, particularly in the mobile workshop sector, through the different use of a single fitting for standard and interlock applications, while at the same time minimising storage costs.
Which hydraulic hoses is the solution suitable for?
Our mobile pull-out protection can be used with multi-spiral hose types 4SH and R15.
How does the mobile Pull-Out Protection differ from a classic interlock fitting?
The mobile Pull-Out Protection offers the same safety and functionality as a classic interlock fitting - but with the advantage that it can be retrofitted flexibly and on site if required. This reduces stock levels and significantly increases the possible applications.
Can the mobile Pull-Out Protection also be retrofitted?
Yes, retrofitting is possible at any time. Installation is simple, requires no special tools and can be carried out directly in the field or in the mobile workshop.
What components are required to convert to Interlock?
All you need for the conversion is the appropriate hose nipple from the Ecovos range, the mobile tear-out retaining ring and an Ecovos+ press fitting. This combination enables the interlock functionality.
